The Relationship between Stereotyping, Prejudice, Racism, Hatred and Tolerance in the USA

People here are not stupid and they understand everything. And when the time comes for us to make a choice, it may happen so that we can change the roles. We are tolerant. But when we see someone lacks tolerance towards us, the things do change.
We had success and failures, advantages and disappointments on the way of development of democratic principles and human rights as in the US legislation, so as in the society's
consciousness.

But these difficulties are not related to the proclamation of Independence. They are result of painful transformation processes in social, political and economic fields, in course of which we did not avoid making some mistakes.

From that time years passed what was a sufficient period for statehood. But these years
were of significant importance for the US people. The formation of the American Nation are the first steps in the statebuilding undertaken in the American history which have finally led to this.

In this regard, the wars that happen for the sake of the right of liberty demonstrated wisdom and maturity of a civil society in any part of the world and the emergence of a political nation. The burst of revolution must be observed not as a riot of the hungry, but rather uprising of the humiliated. The people stood up not for a piece of bread, but in defence of their dignity. The people had courage to confront guns muzzles, because they perceived democracy as a deep personal conviction. America as a nation refused to tolerate oligarchy - when some individuals controlling the economy are linked to those holding the power.

The fundamental changes that have taken place here, in our country, had coincided with
significant transformation that happened in the civilized world itself. The strengthening of the integration processes in Europe, could not but affected the political and social stereotypes in America. The American people were inspired among other things by the desire to live in the better world sharing common European values.

The USA is a country with a significant potential in the industrial and agricultural fields, and is now one of the first in the list of the socially best-developed states. So, stereotyping (that is gender-based, national, race and language assimilation) isn’t to be somuch blamed in this period.

Nowadays situation in the USA stipulates different organisations and societies to breed
various fears and prejudices towards our membership and future relations with us. Opponents to the accedence to NATO name three main reasons for their prejudices, among which NATO is an aggressive military block, which breeds conflicts, the accession to NATO will be very expensive and will severe their relations with other countries and will get the American predominance and control. These prejudices are viewed as myths by the majority of specialists, that were spread by certain political forces to speculate on it during the parliamentary elections.

Maybe people are really euphoric because of the feeling that they are a nation at last and
that without any prejudice got up from their knees and they won't let the people in power get away with imposing their will. Otherwise hatred to themselves and own unability to change for the better future of the successors will become an overweighting luggage to be paid by the duers.

And it is not the same as to take measures regarding some delicate situations alarmed by
manifestations of ethnic hatred against Nazi symbols or Jewish community, or the black race.

The US State Department warned its citizens of the potential violence in the country
which was hit by an election crisis. And even if the Orange Revolution in Ukraine or the Rose Revolution in Georgia were claimed to have been hold paecefully, free of reasonable uotbrakes of violence, it doesn't mean that great disrespect which causes mental suffering or injuring a person's feelings is not the same violence which overwhelming ever more and may cause next historical events as it reflected some time back the American continent.

The subject of racism and anti-Semitism in the USA is at present rather controversial.
From one side it's settled and flat as for the racial attitude, from the other it touches hostility toward or against nacists and other religious, ethnic groups, which can range from individual hatred to institutionalized, violent persecution. The challenge to law enforcement is to understand these extremist theories and, if any incidents do occur, be prepared to respond to the unique crises they will represent as well as to be particularly aware that the new millennium may increase the odds that extremists may engage in their proactive violence.
